Jeremy Renner’s RennerVation Foundation Launches Pave Your Way to Support Transition-Aged Foster Youth
Program Underscores Urgent Need for Independent Living Support
Reno, NV — RennerVation Foundation, a public charity dedicated to transforming outcomes for foster youth in Nevada, proudly announces the official launch of Pave Your Way. The groundbreaking program supports transition-aged youth (ages 16–24) as they exit the foster care system and work toward independent adulthood. Officially launching on April 21, 2025 the program is already receiving a significant number of referrals and applicants, a clear indicator of the urgent and unmet demand for these critical services.
The launch of Pave Your Way comes at a pivotal time in Nevada’s child welfare policy. Senate Bill 380 — which officially goes into effect on July 1, 2025 — will allow young adults ages 18 to 21 who have exited foster care to petition to re-enter the system in order to access extended support services.

The RennerVation Foundation will play an active role in this process by supporting petitioners in the Pave Your Way program with:
- Navigating the judicial system
- Providing required documentation
- Assisting in the creation of transitional living plans
- Connecting youth to housing, education, and financial aid opportunities
Led by program coordinator Tessa Pieretti, Pave Your Way plans to remain focused in Washoe County, Nevada its first year, with the goal to scale in the years ahead. The program is currently serving Washoe County where nearly 1,000 youth are in foster care but only around 400 licensed foster homes remain — a number that continues to decline.
“We launched this program to fill a dangerous gap in services for young people who are asked to navigate adulthood at a very early age with very little support,” said Kym Renner, President and CEO of the RennerVation Foundation. “The overwhelming response confirms what we’ve known for years: transition-aged youth need more than hope — they need housing, planning, and people who will walk beside them.”
Pave Your Way Program Services
The Pave Your Way program provides youth with the comprehensive services they need to become self-sufficient. RennerVation Foundation is currently seeking donations that will support the following direct services:
- Case management services and scheduling
- Career development
- Housing and supportive services
The program aims to empower youth to break cycles of instability by helping them develop the confidence and tools to live meaningful, independent lives.
